Hotel Cristina by Tigotan Las Palmas - Adults Only

Positive - The hotel is in front of the Playa De Las Canteras beach. So, only few steps to get into the ocean and it’s a long beach with nice waves. The beach part is always full of people’s at day and night too. Lot of restaurant around, they offer huge variety of food selection lot of shops around also, open till late. Also, you can hear some live music at night while you walking. The hotel is clean, the room is nice and cozy. You got a big mirror in the room, TV, fridge also a long desk to pack your stuff. The staff (reception, restaurant, bar, cleaning staff) are very nice and friendly. There is a small gym on the 11th floor and small swimming pool on the 1st floor. Can get access to both very easy. You can walk safely day and night also, a lot of local and tourist people’s are around. Having a beautiful night life. The temperature is warm at night too (23-28 degrees), so you can sleep with open balcony door if you don’t want the AC on. They have a big lobby to sit, including the bar area too. Have a nice restaurant with buffet, where you can choose, however... Negative - The weather was not always sunny, but that’s nature, so we cannot do anything with that. (this is only general comment). So, however, the hotel doesn’t offer too much choice of food for dinner. Is quite the same dishes every night. In this matter need some improvement. ️ Another one: It happened one evening, when we went back from walk, we found the coffee machine open and one bottle of water open. I complained to the reception immediately, and they said; it was a technical support went to check our coffee machine (even we didn’t use the coffee machine at all), if it’s works because they mixed up the room number. But no one informed us before and we left everything out (bank card, mobile, etc), and if we don’t find out then could be worst maybe. So, it was not only about, someone went into our room, it’s about to inform us before. And one more thing, the maid didn’t changed our bedsheet at the last 3 days. Otherwise it was memorable holiday

Excellent Staff. They kindfull help with every of your needs. The Hotel has modern rooms and a large lounge with a beautiful view to the waterfront. Fresh and delicious Breakfast.

This hotel is great just by the beach. Good food and service! Room Are nice with balcony and great view! Also location for taxi just round the corner. Staff are attentive. Would recommend this hotel us you are in Las Palmas. Great swimming pool on top floor

Stayed here for 8 fantastic nights in September 24. A big thank you to every member of hotel staff we met, who did an amazing job. Special thanks to Nevissa, our cleaner, who always said hello each day with a big smile on her face and nothing was too much trouble. Also Elena, who was very friendly and looked after us really well with food and drinks in the Lobby Bar. Top tip - You must try one of Raul’s amazing glasses of Sangria that look as good as they taste, I guarantee you’ll be back for more. Finally, thank you Alejandro for coming to the rescue when our taxi was delayed. My Wife and I were really impressed with everything at Hotel Cristina, thanks again. Liz and Kim Sewell (UK).

This was a stay well over my expectations. Although we started with a room with a very open solution for the bathroom the first night, the response from the reception staff was impecable, and with the door option to the bath we were in seventh heaven during our entire stay of a week. The breakfast buffet is to die for, freshly cut fruits, eggs on demand, cava for breakfast for those early birds for the rest of the day and so on. The only remark would be the elevators, it is three, but could have been one or two more, waiting time was sometimes long, but only at breakfast hours. We will be back!

Had a incredible 14 days stay at Hotel Cristina! The service was exellent: room service, restaurant and all the staff. Thank you for such a fantastic stay - I’ll definetively stay here again!

We stayed for 3 nights. The room was big and very comfortable. Location, excellent, on the beach and close to restaurants. Breakfast very good with a lot of choice. The pool and sun loungers were good. Staff, very friendly and helpful. I would like coffee and tea to be replenished each day, whereas they only give one set on the first day.

Nice hotel right on the beach with a lovely warm swimming pool. Well equipped rooms (seaview is worth the extra); though tea/coffee not replenished. Excellent breakfast; dinner a bit hit & miss: not really enough choice for a supposed 5 star hotel and some of the hot dishes were lukewarm. Desserts disappointing. The staff were friendly and helpful; sadly the manager is self-important and rude.

Fantastic staff, amazing service… very clean! The pool area is lovely, the food is so delicious and the staff truly are there to deal with all your needs. My only negative would be the rooms are very bland and basic. Although the decor is calming, it is stripped back. Water ideally should be put in room every day too.
